Troubled pop tart Britney Spears’ brother, Bryan, is helping to thaw the arctic relationship between the singer and her iced-out family, a new report claimed.
Bryan, 47, has escaped becoming a target of Brit’s fury and was her closest confidant after her split from exhusband Sam Asghari in 2023. In a recent Instagram post, the siblings were seen laughing together at a spa in Las Vegas less than a week after the Toxic singer, 42, announced she is considering forgiving her parents!
“Bryan is acting like Henry Kissinger and trying to bring Britney and the rest of the family together. He has been working overtime to get Brit to believe her family only wants to be there for her and is not the enemy,” an unnamed source told The National Enquirer.
The family’s bonds crumbled when their dad, Jamie, 71, placed Britney under a conservatorship in 2008. After it was lifted, The Woman in Me author claimed he had abused his control over her and accused her mother, Lynne, 69, and sister Jamie Lynn, 33, of doing nothing to help her.
The family has been shocked by her recent online rants and her dodgy romance with felon
Paul Richard Soliz and have made overtures hoping to bring the singer home to Louisiana to take care of her. Fans were encouraged when they saw Lynne had “liked” the Vegas spa post.
“Bryan is trying to convince her she was too harsh in her judgment of them and he finally seems to be making some headway. Family sources believe this trip is the first step to a full reconciliation!” the insider stated.
Meanwhile, it has been stated that Sam Asghari's relationship with Britney Spears will not be a topic of conversation during his tenure on Season 3 of Peacock's “The Traitors.”
According to sources who spoke with TMZ on Friday, June 7, the model, who is 30 years old, is "not allowed" to discuss his ex-wife, who is a pop artist and is 42 years old, while he is filming the reality program in Scotland. Reportedly, this encompasses anything that may be said to be complimentary or negative about her.
“Our sources say it's clear Britney doesn't want a peep out of Sam about her, period,” the publication reported.
In the reality television competition known as "The Traitors," which is hosted by Alan Cumming, the contestants, who include both renowned and less well-known individuals, are required to participate in a murder mystery game. They collaborate on several missions in order to accumulate a reward pool that might potentially be valued up to $250,000.
On the other hand, there are spies within their group who have been given the responsibility of "murdering" the players who have been loyal to them. In order to ensure that the money is distributed fairly, the players who are loyal must make every effort to identify and expel all of the players who are betraying the game before the game is over. In the event that a traitor is successful in reaching the conclusion, they will be awarded the entire prize.
Alongside Tom Sandoval of “Vanderpump Rules,” Chanel Ayan, Dolores Catania, Dorinda Medley, and Robyn Dixon of “Real Housewives,” “Survivor” alumni Jeremy Collins, "Boston" Rob Mariano, Tony Vlachos, and Carolyn Wiger, Lord Ivar Mountbatten of the British royal family, Chrishell Stause of “Selling Sunset,” and other notable individuals, Sam is scheduled to appear in the third season of the show.
