Timothée Chalamet may be influenced by the Kardashians, but to what extent? A new report claimed that Kylie Jenner's boyfriend, who is 28 years old, is being accused of being a diva on the set of his Bob Dylan movie, "A Complete Unknown," which is now being filmed in New Jersey.
“He apparently got into a screaming match with a crew member. Everyone is walking on eggshells around him,” an unnamed source told In Touch Weekly.
Nevertheless, a different insider believes that people are simply exaggerating their reactions. “Timothée is a quiet guy. He likes to keep to himself. He’s not being rude. He’s just very focused on the work at hand and wants to do the best job possible. And he does,” it claimed.
Most, if not all, fans are aware that the biographical drama, which was written by Mangold and Jay Cocks and will be released in theaters in December, covers the early years of the folk music hero in New York City, building up to the moment that shattered the world when he strapped on an electric guitar during his performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965, Variety reported.
Throughout the course of the trailer, Timothee strolls through the streets of Manhattan, passing by some of Dylan's favorite places, such as Cafe Wha? and Hotel Chelsea. The actor delivers a stirring performance of Bob Dylan's protest song "A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall," which was released in 1963.
A love triangle begins to develop between Dylan, Joan Baez, played by Monica Barbaro, and Sylvie Russo, played by Elle Fanning. Sylvie Russo appears to be a fictionalized version of Suze Rotolo, who was Dylan's lover at the time and who is featured on the record cover of "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan."
Edward Norton, who plays Pete Seeger, Boyd Holbrook, who plays Johnny Cash, P. J. Byrne, who plays Harold Leventhal, Scoot McNairy, who plays Woody Guthrie, Dan Fogler, who plays Albert Grossman, and Will Harrison, who plays Bob Neuwirth, are among the actors who complete the cast.
"A Complete Unknown," which was initially titled "Going Electric" and was based on Elijah Wald's book "Dylan Goes Electric" published in 2015, used a phrase from Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone," which is a plugged-in folk-rock hymn that completely altered the course of history.
In his film, Mangold has characterized Dylan as "a wanderer who comes in from Minnesota with a fresh name and a fresh outlook on life." This is how he describes our protagonist. An "upheaval in the folk community and what they thought was proper folk and illicit folk" is sparked as a result of his presence in New York. In addition to attending many sessions with Mangold, the real-life Dylan, who is 83 years old, provided feedback on the script.
Following the widespread dissemination of paparazzi photographs of Timothee on social media, production of the film began in March in the states of New York and New Jersey.
Fred Berger, Alex Heineman, Peter Jaysen, Bob Bookman, Alan Gasmer, Jeff Rosen, Chalamet, and Mangold are the individuals responsible for producing "A Complete Unknown," which is produced by Searchlight Pictures.
