Shiloh Jolie has formally severed all relations with her father, Brad Pitt.

Born Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, the 18-year-old daughter of the “Troy” star and his ex-wife Angelina Jolie will now legal identify as Shiloh Jolie.

Almost three months after she first requested to have the "Pitt" dropped from her last name on her birthday in May, when she became a legal adult, the teen was finally given permission to change her name, PEOPLE  Magazine confirmed.

In July, Shiloh encountered a roadblock when an issue behind the scenes caused her petition to change her name to be postponed. This update follows her setback.

"Unfortunately, the court was unable to complete the background check ahead of today's hearing, so the hearing was rescheduled for August 19. Everyone undergoing a name-change request needs to have a background check conducted by the court clerk, and because of clerical error, Shiloh's hearing has been continued to a new date,” Shiloh's lawyer Peter Levine said in a statement obtained by the news publication in July.

Despite the minor setback, Shiloh was able to pass all of the necessary steps in California to officially change her name to "Shiloh Jolie." One of these steps was publishing a notice in the Los Angeles Times, which she did.

To be considered for a judge's approval, the legal paperwork must be published in the legal notice section of a newspaper for a minimum of one month according to California law.

A prominent indicator of Shiloh's extreme estrangement from her father is the removal of the "Pitt" from her once-hyphenated last name.

Responding to the devastating insult, a Brad insider said that the “Fight Club” actor was "aware and upset that Shiloh dropped his last name."

"The reminders that he’s lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them,” the insider continued of Brad and Angelina — who share six kids, Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Pax, 20, Shiloh, Knox, 15, and Vivienne, 15.

Also, Vivienne and Zahara have publicly gone by the last name "Jolie," but they haven't officially changed it.

After Brad and Angelina's ugly breakup in 2016, it's widely thought that almost all of the children of the famous exes took a stand with their mom. The co-stars of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" are still arguing over the ownership of Château Miraval, the French winery they owned together, after a protracted and contentious divorce.
