Prince Harry is in a downward spiral as a result of an untimely vacation.
According to reports, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, took a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Colombia that cost them a staggering six million dollars and included a red carpet arrival. On the other hand, the father of two kids, who is 39 years old, appeared to be less than thrilled about the opportunity to spend four lavish days in the breathtaking South American nation.
At the same time when Meghan, who is 43 years old, was seen salsa dancing away the days with a great smile on her face, Harry was seen standing on the sidelines appearing lost in thought and glum, as if he wished he were somewhere else. The prince, who was fascinated with thoughts of his son Prince Archie, who was five years old and was scheduled to begin school in California just a few days after the couple returned to Montecito, was said to be distracted with those thoughts, as stated by an informant.
“Harry’s tendency to leave most of the decision-making to Meghan is not sitting well with him at all. He might have signed off on Colombia but it was pretty clear he didn’t want to be there and had Archie on his mind the whole time. Harry didn’t realize how close to his first day of school it would be but Meghan assured him they’d be back in time and it wouldn’t impact on Archie’s big day,” an unnamed source told Woman’s Day Australia.
“Nothing they were doing in Colombia seemed as important as how Archie was feeling and Harry was suffering from a severe case of dad guilts. He remembers his first day at school with his mum and William at his side, encouraging him every step of the way. Archie doesn’t even have a big brother to guide him so he’s deeply worried that he and Meghan haven’t done their best, like his own mum did,” the unidentified insider told the entertainment news outlet.
Both Laguna Blanca and Cate School are considered to be among the most prestigious private schools in the region. Although the couple has not yet announced which school Archie will attend, earlier reports indicate that he will be attending either of these institutions. The tuition for the former school is approximately $53,000 per year. The fact that the young prince has been attending preschool in Montecito for a number of years and has established himself as a well-liked student among his peers is, without a question, an encouraging indicator for his parents.
Hello Magazine reported that he has been referred to as "the cheerful kid who brings a week's worth of freshly picked fruit for his fellow classmates and enjoys playing a 'roaring' game at recess," according to the Duchess of Sussex.
Archie, who has been waiting impatiently for his mother and father to return from their trip, is reportedly eagerly anticipating the start of school. Harry's feelings of guilt have not been alleviated by this development, as the tipster claimed.
“He’s furious he allowed Meghan to arrange this trip right before the most important day of Archie’s life so far and told her so,” the mole stated.
Unfortunately, Meghan’s reaction to Harry’s criticism wasn’t great as she felt he was questioning her parenting decisions.
“She’s extremely frustrated with Harry right now as he’s not even hiding how miserable he is. But Harry’s incredibly homesick and so much of this world is nothing he can relate to,” the tattler shared.
“He imagined sending his kids off to prep school and on to Eton - he has a deep fear he’s not doing the best by his children. Harry’s almost broken travel records trying to get back to Archie’s birthday from coronations and court cases. He’s always been his number-one priority and being a father is one of the few joys he has in his life. He can’t shake the feeling that he’s let Archie down by not being there for him,” the spy went on.
