Jennifer Aniston is an enthusiast of renovations. She has renovated over six properties in the past, each of which has been customized to her relaxed, elegant aesthetic.
Two years ago, the "Friends" alum invested $14.8 million in a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath Tuscan-style farmhouse constructed in 1998 in the upscale Montecitio, Calif. neighborhood. Since then, she has been diligently renovating the property, including the installation of a pool and the improvement of its interior and exterior.
She is currently in the process of relocating from Los Angeles to a tranquil enclave that is two hours away. “She feels like it’s time to move on. She’s ready for a change and a new chapter,” an unnamed source told Star Magazine.
The "Morning Show" star is not content with simply turning that page. Following a series of heartbreaks, the 55-year-old is prepared to upgrade her romantic status.
“She’s hopeful that a fresh start might make it easier for her to find love again. It’s been so long since she’s had a relationship-she really misses that companionship,” the anonymous insider stated.
Jennifer once declared that she would pursue a career in interior design if she were not an actress. “I love that process. “There’s something about picking out fabrics and finishes that feeds my soul,” she stated. Therefore, it is unsurprising that the residences she shared with her companions are replete with significance.
In 2021, she and her first husband, Brad Pitt, initiated their marriage by purchasing a 12,000-square-foot French Normandy-style home in Beverly Hills for $13.1 million. They subsequently spent three years renovating the 1934 property, as per In Touch Weekly.
However, the couple, who divorced in 2005, held divergent perspectives on the characteristics of a residence. Jen attempted to lighten the situation after Brad had moved on with his Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie following the divorce. She famously joked, "[Now] I can have a comfortable couch," in response to the fact that their marital home was adorned with museum pieces and modern furniture that was designed for aesthetics rather than functionality.
While Star has stated that she and her second spouse, Justin Theroux, remain close and have spent time together in New York City, their relationship has also been marked by some disappointments. Jen moved across the country to join him on the East Coast while they were still dating. However, the two adjacent condominiums she acquired for $7.01 million in 2011 were never able to capture her renowned aesthetic; she sold them the following year.
Rather, the duo invested $21 million in the purchase of Quincy Jones' former estate in Bel Air. In 2015, they exchanged vows at the location following a significant renovation.
Three years later, their separation was without incident. Nevertheless, she was compelled to eliminate her ex's presence. During a tour of an airy cottage that was formerly Justin's office, she jokingly said, "Welcome to the babe cave." She stated, "I stripped it all and lightened it up after he moved out." He approached and exclaimed, "What the f**k did you do?" I said, "I restored the light, my friend."
“Her home is her sanctuary. Jennifer has a very particular style and loves working with her loyal team of interior designers to bring her vision to life. She wants it to reflect her,” the undisclosed informant shared.
Additionally, there may be an unfamiliar individual. The atmosphere in Montecito is relaxed, devoid of the pressures that characterize Los Angeles.
“Jen loves the lifestyle. She can go to the beach without getting bothered, or run to the shops. The air is so fresh and clean she says it smells like flowers all the time,” the tipster said.
The social landscape is congested, with Rob Lowe and Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as neighbors.
“There’s a reason so many celebrities live here. It’s so beautiful and private and a world away from Hollywood, even if it’s only two hours,” the mole said.
Jennifer is reported to be worth $300 million at this juncture in her life and has no further evidence to substantiate her claim. Another exceptional romance is the sole element that is absent.
“She doesn’t have a big checklist. She doesn’t need a flashy A-list star or someone super wealthy. She wants a man she can trust, someone she can laugh and feel safe with. Someone who makes her happy,” the tattler shared.
