After insisting that the attendees at his Walker, Michigan, rally who were getting up from their seats were not truly leaving, 78-year-old Donald Trump was the target of ridicule on Friday, September 27.

“The people that you see leaving right now... It looks like they’re leaving, but they’re not leaving,” Trump spoke incoherently to the crowd.

The mini-meltdown of the 2024 presidential contender was the target of criticism in reaction to the video that went viral from the occasion, OK! Magazine reported.

“Wow, he's falling apart, and yes, those people are leaving,” someone wrote, and then another person added, “‘Don’t believe your own eyes or ears, just believe me.’”

A third made the comment, "They're all just going to the bathroom at the same time," while a fourth made the same joke, saying, "Trust me, they're leaving."

The final critique was, "He's so d--- dumb."

NBC News previously reported the father-of-five has been irritated by people leaving his rallies early before, when his opponent Kamala Harris made fun of the problem during a debate.

The Democratic contender said, "it's a really interesting thing to watch." on September 10, pleading with Americans to tune in to one of Trump's campaign rallies.

"You will see during the course of his rallies, he talks about fictional characters like Hannibal Lecter," she continued, pointing out that Trump has made frequent references to the villain from Silence of the Lambs. "He will talk about windmills causing cancer!"

"And what you will also notice is that people start leaving his rallies early out of exhaustion and boredom. And I will tell you, the one thing you will not hear him talk about is you. You will not hear him talk about your needs, your dreams and your desires. And I’ll tell you, I believe you deserve a president who actually puts you first. And I pledge to you that I will," It was her turn to scorn.

After Harris spoke, Trump said that "people don't go to" vice president’s rallies because there is "no reason to go."

The man went on a rant: “And the people that do go, she’s busing them in and paying them to be there and then showing them in a different light. So she can’t talk about that. People don’t leave my rallies. We have the biggest rallies, the most incredible rallies in the history of policy.

Politicians like Harris aren't the only ones who have pointed out Trump's egotistical fixation on crowds; former president Barack Obama even made fun of Trump at the Democratic National Convention, CNN reported.

"Here's a 78-year-old billionaire who has not stopped whining about his problems since he rode down his golden escalator nine years ago. It has been a constant stream of gripes and grievances that's actually been getting worse now that he's afraid of losing to Kamala. There's the childish nicknames, the crazy conspiracy theories, this weird obsession with crowd sizes," he declared.
