Landon Barker, the son of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, has broken his silence after being embroiled in rumors linking him to a Sean "Diddy" Combs-themed birthday party. The 21-year-old musician took to TikTok on October 15 to clarify that he was not involved in organizing or endorsing the controversial event, which reportedly featured references to Combs, who is currently facing serious legal charges.

"I'd like to come on here and apologize and address the fact that people are saying I had this whole themed birthday party," Barker stated in his video. "First off, I've not had a birthday party. My birthday party is next week." He explained that on his actual birthday, October 9, he went to Nobu for a quiet celebration with family and friends, and later headed to a club for an after-party. The club, however, had bottle service referencing Diddy's notorious "freak offs" and the baby oil bottles discovered during a raid of Combs' properties, a detail that Barker claims caught him completely off-guard.

"It was a dark environment, and all I could really see was another table having flashing bottles being brought out," Barker recalled. "I thought they were bringing out tequila. I had no idea what was going on at this point." He further clarified that he did not touch or condone the bottles once he realized the connection to Combs' legal scandal.

The event in question reportedly took place at Harriet's Rooftop Lounge in Los Angeles. A video from the night shows a DJ making a reference to Combs, saying, "We're getting really freaky tonight. We're getting Diddy freaky tonight," sparking a wave of speculation online. Barker expressed regret for being involved in the situation, stating in his video's caption, "My apologies go out to everyone I hurt. This wasn't my idea, and I never wanted that to happen."

These rumors have emerged as Sean "Diddy" Combs faces a growing list of legal challenges. The rap mogul was arrested in September 2024 on charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Federal agents reportedly discovered over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant in his properties during raids, a detail that has now become a bizarre element of party references linked to his name.

Combs' legal team has been aggressively fighting the allegations. On October 15, his attorneys filed a request with U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian to reveal the identities of all his accusers. They argued that disclosing the names of the alleged victims is crucial for preparing their defense, which is set for trial in May 2025. "This case is unique due to Mr. Combs' celebrity status, wealth, and the publicity surrounding it," the legal filing stated. The team suggested that some accusations might be exaggerated or entirely false, referencing the "torrent of allegations" that surfaced following a settled lawsuit with Combs' ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.

Combs' defense team also pushed back against what they called a "media circus" surrounding the case, claiming it could irreparably damage the rapper's ability to receive a fair trial. "The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded today's barrage of filings were clear attempts to garner publicity," the legal team said in a statement, referring to the victims' lawyer, Tony Buzbee, who claimed that his hotline received over 12,000 calls in one day.

Barker, who has found himself in the periphery of this media frenzy, reiterated that his presence at the club was purely coincidental and that he had no involvement in any Diddy-related theme. He also addressed accusations that he requested his friends wear all-white outfits for the event, a signature look at Combs' famed "white parties." Barker denied this, stating that the formal dinner attire was simply coincidental. "This is what was worn on my birthday," Barker said, showing a photo of his friends dressed in white tops and black pants.

A source close to Barker further backed his version of events, telling PEOPLE that Landon was unaware of the party's theme. "He, nor ownership, had any knowledge of the theme of the party, nor was he aware that the servers would be presenting bottles of baby oil that night for someone else," the source said, clarifying that Barker "did not participate in the baby oil service and refused to engage."
