Meghan Markle possesses a "weapon in her back pocket" that she might employ to exact "revenge" against the Royal Family, a new report claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry have been public about their troubles inside The Firm, highlighted by their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey and a revealing Netflix series—more than four years after they stood down as senior Royals.

Subsequently, Prince Harry released his confessional book, "Spare," in the previous year. This book highlighted difficulties inside the Royal Institution, particularly with King Charles and Prince William. As a result of Netflix's revelations, Meghan has remained silent about any additional information surrounding the Royal Family.

Rumors that Meghan is writing her personal memoir have been sparked by hints dropped in an interview two years ago. In that interview, Meghan referenced keeping a diary when she was serving as a member of the Royal Family. Jennie Bond, a veteran and former royal correspondent for the BBC, stated that such a journal gives the impression that an exposé might be "in her back pocket."

"It's more than two years since she gave that interview, and she has steered clear of controversy about the Royal Family since. Obviously, the journal she mentioned will remain a potential weapon in her back pocket if she ever feels the need to seek some sort of revenge," Jennie Bond told OK! Magazine.

"But she has behaved with discretion and dignity ever since Oprah and the documentary series. I think she is looking forwards, not backwards and is moving on with her life. So I don't think we should be raising false alarms about any potential memoir," the royal expert added.

Last year, Meghan opened up to The Cut about her Californian family life post-royal exit and her podcast Archetypes. She revealed that no NDA was required upon her departure from 'the firm' and recounted finding a journal at Frogmore Cottage, saying: "You go back, and you open drawers, and you're like, 'Oh my gosh. This is what I was writing in my journal there."

In the wake of Meghan's revelations, Roya Nikkhah, the Royal Editor of The Sunday Times, stated on True Royalty TV's "The Royal Beat" that certain remarks were highly illuminating.

"The thinly veiled threats that came in [Meghan's interview with The Cut] ...I think [she] probably hopes it does [feel threatening] to the Royal Family... [But] I think there's a lot of eye-rolling, going, 'We're used to this by now'... [But] that phrase, 'I have a lot to say until I don't' and, 'I've never signed anything that restricts me from talking'... there was a very strong inference there," Roya stated.

"And, of course, the reminder that she keeps a journal, and [her] revelation that, 'when we came back to Windsor, to Frogmore Cottage for the Jubilee, I rediscovered my journal that I'd left there' - I was astonished to discover that she had left a highly private diary behind in Windsor, rather than taking it back," she added.

Over the past year or two, she has remarked on a few occasions that she kept a notebook, and I believe that there is a very strong inference that Meghan may publish her memoir.
