Kelly Clarkson has been losing weight for the better part of two years, but according to a new report, she is finally filling out a bit and relaxing her regimen. This has her friends breathing sighs of relief following her extreme weight reduction.

Because the singer of "Stronger," who is 42 years old, revealed a spectacular new body after losing forty pounds, some fans speculated that the winner of American Idol had gone to Ozempic to reduce the excess weight. Nevertheless, Kelly refuted the reports by stating, “My doctor chased me for, like, two years and I was like, ‘No, I’m afraid of it. I already have thyroid problems.’ I was afraid.”

“Everyone thinks it’s Ozempic. It’s not. It’s something else. But it’s something that aids in breaking down the sugar. Obviously, my body doesn’t do it right,” she added.

After reading Dr. Steven R. Gundry's book "The Plant Paradox," the pop singer disclosed that she was able to achieve her weight loss goals. This was because the book entirely altered her perspective on the foods that she was consuming.

“It’s basically about how we cook our food, non-GMO, no pesticides, eating really organic,” she told Extra, adding that it wasn’t her looks that motivated her to make the difference in her diet but her health.

“I literally read this book, and I did it for this autoimmune disease that I had, and I had a thyroid issue, and now all my levels are back up. I’m not on medicine anymore because of this book,” the “Catch My Breath” singer explained.

With her well-being her top priority, the source notes that her recent heavier yet healthier look is good, saying, “She was so emaciated and frail-looking before.” But in the months since, “Kelly’s actually put a little weight back on and it looks good on her. She’s lost that ‘I’m so hungry right now’ expression and her eyes are brighter, her smile more genuine.”

“Now, she’s the perfect, normal size. She’s enjoying her meals and has a healthy glow about her,” the insider adds.

Kelly had joked with Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush on her talk show, which had won an Emmy, saying she had gone through "many stages" of being "chubby" while growing up, Entertainment Tonight reported. This uncertainty was made worse by how many people responded to her victory on American Idol in 2002 and her fast climb to fame.

“People were like really mean to us because we were from a talent show,” she revealed. “Like everyone was so rude to us, like on the red carpet, at the show. It was so bad. It was a horrible experience!”

A second source, who had previously been interviewed by Life & Style Magazine, concurred that Kelly no longer possesses that haggard appearance.

According to that insider, she has gained some weight, so she is considering reevaluating her makeup routine. Her eagerness to try out different eyeliners, makeup tints, and lip colors directly results from her desire to highlight her beauty.

Although the first source observes that "obviously, there is always going to be that danger of going back the other way, and she needs to regulate things," everyone is in agreement that Kelly has not improved her appearance at all.
