Sean "Diddy" Combs is in jail while he awaits his human trafficking trial in May 2025. However, a source has reported that his family is in disarray, particularly with his 26-year-old son, Christian, and his mother, Janice.

A source disclosed that Janice and her 26-year-old grandson believe they should manage the rapper's $400 million empire while he is jailed.

"Janice thinks she’s the best person to step in. But Diddy’s son is just as determined to take the reins," a source dished to a news outlet. "It’s become a full-on showdown, and tensions are skyrocketing!"
Another insider added, "It’s like a real-life Godfather situation!"

In March, federal agents seized Diddy's properties in Miami and Los Angeles while conducting an ongoing investigation into human trafficking, as OK Magazine! previously reported. In addition to the confiscation of numerous electronic devices from the residences, narcotics, weapons, and approximately 1,000 bottles of baby oil were also discovered.

Diddy was apprehended in New York on September 16. On September 17, he was arrested on charges of extortion conspiracy, s-- trafficking by force, and interstate transportation for prostitution.

He entered a plea of not guilty to all charges.

Moreover, the producer has been the subject of numerous lawsuits since his arrest, alleging that he has drugged alleged victims, made death threats, and committed sexual assault, as per NPR. He was most recently accused of drugging and raping a 10-year-old child who had visited him for an audition in 2005, according to a court filing.

The alleged victim, who is only identified as John Doe in the lawsuit, claimed that he experienced a "funny" sensation after consuming a beverage that one of Diddy's staff members had given him following the audition.

The court documents also alleged that the artist had inquired about the extent of his desire to achieve success in the music industry and cautioned him that "you have to do some stuff you don't want to do sometimes." Afterward, the artist was allegedly forced to perform oral sex on him.

John Doe claimed that he passed out shortly after that, but upon awakening, he discovered that his trousers were unbuttoned, which led him to suspect that he had been raped, Variety reported.

Nevertheless, Diddy’s attorneys maintain that their client is innocent and that the numerous accusations against him are simply an elaborate scheme to garner public attention and financial benefit.

"The lawyer behind this lawsuit is interested in media attention rather than the truth, as is obvious from his constant press appearances and 1-800 number," the statement read. "As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every new publicity stunt, even in response to claims that are facially ridiculous or demonstrably false."

The source informed In Touch that Diddy’s mother and son were engaged in a dispute over the management of his empire.
