Beyoncé denied rumors that she would embark on a tour following her highly anticipated Christmas Day halftime performance next year.
Not only did her longtime representative, Yvette Noel-Schure, provide the clarification, but she also wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, "Untrue. Nothing to report here. Whenever there is any news, you will hear it directly from the source first."
After the highly regarded music industry trade publication Hits Daily Double reported that Beyoncé was "starting to promote her upcoming tour, which should be enormous."
The US Sun was subsequently informed by sources that Queen Bey was "set to unveil a series of UK stadium gigs for next summer," including five dates at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Despite being 43 years old, Beyoncé has earned a great deal of success with her most recent album, "Cowboy Carter," which was released in March. With a career total of 99 votes, the singer becomes the most recognized artist in the history of the Grammy Awards ceremony. This comes after the country-leaning project only recently garnered 11 Grammy nominations, one of which was for album of the year. As a result of the initiative receiving 11 nominations, this goal was ultimately achieved.
Beyoncé has yet to disclose plans to tour with "Cowboy Carter," despite the critical acclaim it has garnered. She will, however, debut songs from the genre-bending album during her halftime performance at the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game on December 25, which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
At the beginning of the previous week, the streaming site dropped hints that the vocalist of "Texas Hold 'Em" would be accompanied by "some special guests" who had previously been on "Cowboy Carter."
The record includes collaborations with several singers, including Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, and Shaboozey. However, Netflix did not reveal the names of the artists who will accompany Beyoncé onstage at NRG Stadium in Houston, her hometown.
During her most recent tour, "Renaissance," the music legend performed 56 times across North America and Europe between May and October 2023.
The concert footage, documented throughout the tour, resulted in an additional $44.4 million in box office revenue due to its success. This is in addition to the incredible amount of $579 million that it grossed.
Netizens were quick to react to Beyonce's announcement. "Beyoncé shutting down rumors like a queen. Can't wait for the halftime show!" a netizen wrote on X. "Disappointed there's no UK tour, but excited for new performances!" another fan shared.
"99 Grammy nominations and counting. Truly the GOAT," a third source said. "Hometown halftime show with special guests? Christmas just got better!" another X user added. "Renaissance tour was epic. Hoping for a Cowboy Carter tour soon!" a fifth netizen stated.
