Beyoncé is standing by Jay-Z's side 100 percent while she deals with her turmoil, bringing the couple closer than ever before. Jay-Z is facing a lot of stress and anger as a result of allegations that he is connected with the suspected sex trafficker P. Diddy, a new report claimed.
“There’s this bizarre conspiracy going around right now where people are saying celebrities have to thank Beyoncé in their speeches or they risk being punished. It’s so ludicrous and out there that it’s actually quite funny, but what isn’t funny is all the darker stuff that they’re getting dragged into because of their association with P. Diddy over the years," an unnamed source told In Touch Weekly.
Following the filing of formal charges by a federal grand jury, P. Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, is currently being held in federal custody awaiting trial for racketeering, sex trafficking by force, and transportation for prostitution. The news that a team of attorneys will be filing up to 120 lawsuits against Combs comes on top of the numerous accusations he has already faced from earlier in 2024, as per BBC.
Combs has rejected the charges, but the mountain of allegations leveled against the 54-year-old music mogul has caused his longtime friends to become uncomfortable.
One of the attorneys on the team filing the lawsuits against Combs, Tony Buzbee, confirmed that additional defendants will be added, saying, “The names that we’re going to name, assuming our investigators confirm and corroborate what we’ve been told, are names that will shock you. They know who they are.”
While many long-term associates of Combs are anxiously holding their breath as mainstream and social media sleuths begin pointing fingers, a second source previously told In Touch Weekly that Jay-Z, 54, and Beyoncé, 43, have “remained conspicuously silent following news of Diddy’s indictment,” and that, “There’s already talk about what they knew and if it got out it could prove embarrassing.”
Combs and the Carters go back decades – specifically Jay-Z – who has extensive business and artistic ties to the accused rapist, ELLE reported. However, the two industry titans often had disagreements in the early 2000s over their ventures, and the first source noted that the “Empire State of Mind” rapper had grown distant from his former associate over the past few years.
The source claimed that even if the actions being reported to have been committed by P. Diddy are wholly reprehensible and have nothing to do with it, this does not prevent people from making assumptions about him. Initially, they thought that it would be more beneficial to disregard it. Still, they are fighting back because they cannot allow their reputations to be dragged into the dirt due to lies and conspiracy theories.
Jay Z has ordered his legal team to pursue anyone who is attempting to put him in the same category as P. Diddy by making false charges. This is why he has threatened to sue Piers Morgan for providing a platform to someone who is spreading such bogus claims.
After the host brought musician Jaguar Wright on his show, Uncensored, who accused Jay-Z of being a "monster" together with Diddy, the Marcy Projects native placed his attorney, Alex Shapiro, on Piers, 59, a presenter from the United Kingdom. Following that, Piers extended his apologies to the Carters.
The insider continued by saying that he would not let it go unpunished. Beyonce is entirely and utterly committed to and has complete faith in him. He is pretty grateful that she has been so fast, letting him know they would tackle this nonsense together.
