After only a few months on the job, Meghan Markle's former assistant decided to leave her position because she found it too demanding, according to a source.
The Duchess of Sussex was a member of the royal family at the time when Melissa Toubati began working for her. Despite this, Melissa quit her job six months later, and according to The Mirror, the demanding work caused her to cry every day.
A source said, "Her job was highly pressurized and in the end it became too much."
According to the source, Melissa had to cope with "a lot of demands" when she was working there.
Speaking at the time Melissa left back in 2018, the source added, "She is hugely talented and played a pivotal role in the success of the royal wedding. She'll be missed by everyone in the household. Melissa is a total professional and fantastic at her job."
That it was "easier" for Melissa to resign than it was to sort things out was the suggestion made by the source. Melissa is not the only member of staff that Meghan and Prince Harry have lost over the years. They have also lost other members of staff.
According to Daily Mail, Richard Miller, who has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Prince Harry's charity Sentebale for the past five years, has recently resigned from his position. Not only did Sentebale announce his resignation, but the organization also disclosed that Richard will be succeeded by Carmel Gaillard, who will serve as an interim executive director.
"This shift reflects our continued commitment to being guided by voices from within the region we serve. We sincerely thank Richard for his pivotal role in steering our organization toward this important evolution," the statement read.
Speaking of Carmel, he added, "Carmel is an incredible asset to position Sentebale further as a leader in the region."
The retirement of Richard from the charitable organization comes nearly exactly one month after Andrew Tucker resigned from his senior position at Sentebale after serving in that capacity for almost ten years.
In addition, the Baroness Lynda Chalker decided to leave the organization after having worked there for a total of eighteen years. After serving the charity for eleven years, Johnny Hornby, who was a trustee at Sentebale, ultimately decided to step down from his post there a year ago.
