Miley Cyrus wrote a poignant tribute to people affected by the Los Angeles wildfires, recalling her own house burning down years ago.

She mentioned on her Instagram Story Saturday about a photo that was taken from her front porch in 2018, following the loss of their house in the Woolsey fires, and she shared it next to an image of her condemned Malibu home.

She described the experience as a feeling that one never forgets, recalling how she would walk up to the door she used to pass through daily, expecting to be greeted by her loved ones as usual, only to be met with a pile of ash and rubble instead.

The 32-year-old pop diva expressed that her soul aches for those experiencing the devastation firsthand and that she cries for the city of Iny.

"My soul aches for those who are experiencing this devastation firsthand and I cry for my city," the pop star, 32, went on. "It's beyond heartbreaking. Los Angeles represents 'living the dream' but the reality today is wreckage and destruction."

She also provided links to groups she was "personally supporting" as Los Angeles burned, including the Malibu Foundation, which she helped start in 2018.

According to the Daily Mail, Miley and her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth, shared the multimillion-dollar property that burned.

The couple then and their pets escaped to her second $2.5 million Southern California residence, thankfully.

Many of Miley's celebrity peers have donated to first responders fighting the severe fires destroying thousands of acres of Los Angeles and to families who lost their homes.

Kim Kardashian, 44, is contributing "critical resources" to first responders and also things like underwear, shirts, and socks to individuals left with nothing but their clothes through Skims.

Jamie Lee Curtis donated $1 million, and Paris Hilton, who lost her Malibu beach mansion to the Palisades Fire, started an 11:11 Media Impact relief fund and donated $100,000.

Halle Berry packed her "entire closet" to donate to +COOP, a boutique for fire victims seeking clothes. Sharon Stone also urged donations.

Jennifer Garner and José Andrés, who operates the non-profit World Central Kitchen, distributed meals to fire victims on Friday.

The initial Palisades Fire broke out on Tuesday, and since then, it has consumed over 20,000 acres of land spanning the Palisades and Malibu. It has also started to pose a threat to Brentwood on Saturday morning, per Page Six.

There have been at least five other fires that have ravaged Los Angeles, with the Eaton Fire being responsible for the destruction of 14,000 acres and counting.

The Santa Ana winds are projected to become more intense next week, which has resulted in the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Angelenos, and there is no sign of an end in sight.
