In the video, Trump answers reporters' questions while Melania remains silent. Gesturing toward her, he says, "She did a great job on television the other night," adding, "And I didn't do so bad either. But she did a great job on television." The remarks, delivered as rain falls on the first lady, have been widely interpreted online as dismissive.
As the couple moves toward their helicopter, Melania is seen wiping rain from her face while Trump continues to keep the umbrella centered above his own head. The source added that "Melania simply cannot live under the same roof with Donald," describing the marriage as transactional rather than romantic.
According to the same account, Melania prefers life in New York, while Trump plans to remain in Florida after his current term. "She wants her own space and her own life-period," the source said, characterizing the relationship as one sustained by practicality rather than intimacy.
