The Chinese mobile manufacturer Vivo had released Vivo Z1 smartphone back in May 2018, for which the company saw ample appreciation from the customers. Now, in its attempt to move to the next level,  a new advancement of the handset named, Vivo Z1i. The newest variant is now available in China and is expected to go international soon.

Vivo Z1i holds a number of new features in terms of its revamp from the earlier edition. The handset has been upgraded with more storage space and better camera specifications, alongside a different chipset. GSMArena quoted that Vivo Z1i comes with a massive 6.26-inch full HD display which sports high-end 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution at 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset, which runs at 2.2GHz frequency rate. This is something which can be considered as a disadvantage for Vivo Z1i, as Vivo Z1 holds a Snapdragon 660 processor.

Besides these, the smartphone holds a serious upgrade in terms of its memory support. Gadget Now indicated that Vivo Z1i boasts a 4GB RAM coupled with 128 GB internal storage zone. Moreover, the storage space can be expanded up to 256 GB, with the help of a MicroSD card, in its hybrid SIM slot. The major revamp which may differentiate the new Vivo Z1i from its earlier edition is based on its camera specifications. 

Vivo Z1i comes with a 16-megapixel selfie snapper, which can click the special moments at their best colors, as per the company's claims. The rear camera of the handset comes with dual shooters: the major one of 13-megapixel coupled with another 2-megapixel sensor, for ensuring best capturing of pictures. As for the operating attributes, Vivo Z1i runs on Android 8.1 Oreo packed with FunTouch Operating System support.

As for long-lasting power backup, Vivo Z1i comes with a 3,260 mAh battery support. The smartphone has already launched in China and is now available at Vivo's official online store with a price tag of CNY1,898. Vivo Z1i is selling in two color options: Black-Gold and Red.  The company has not notified any clear and particular date for its release in the U.S. and the other countries, but Vivo Z1i is expected to launch internationally very soon. Vivo has also slashed the price of its Z1 handset from CNY1798 to CNY1,598. Vivo Z1i is expected to have a price tag of $285 in the U.S.
