Huawei just patented a smartwatch that has built-in storage for Bluetooth headphones. The innovative design will ensure that users can listen to music or make a hands-free call any time since the earbuds will always be conveniently reachable on the wrist.

LetsGoDigital, an online tech magazine, was the first to disclose about Huawei's newest feature on a smartwatch. Now, with the wireless earbuds that it intends to integrate into its watches, the publication also revealed that the Chinese multinational company has successfully secured a patent from the World Intellectual Property Office.

Patent information shows that the Bluetooth headphones will also allow users to control the volume and enjoy the added noise-canceling feature. The earphones are said to be water-resistant and the case seems to be removable.

The earbuds and its storage are to be fitted between the bezel and strap. And as Bluetooth headphones have become a common necessity for communication gadget users, these built-in earbuds will surely be a big convenience to everyone, LetsGoDigital shared.

Huawei was the very first to come up with this idea so the company's smartwatches are expected to sell well once units with the built-in earbuds are released. It was speculated that this feature was specially designed for the upcoming Huawei Watch 3, but there is no official word about it yet.

Earphones attached to the wrist is not exactly new but the Huawei version is different because there is a docking station that can be fastened to the watch for charging the Bluetooth earbuds. When not needed, it can simply be removed and use the watch on its own.

This smartwatch's built-in headphones is just another feature patented by the Huawei. Back in January, Slashgear reported that the company registered a touch-sensitive bezel and a gaming smartwatch for copyrights.

At any rate, although there is still no solid information regarding Huawei's cutting-edge smartwatch, the patent seems to be hinting at what can be expected when the Watch 3 arrives. Then again, the consumers should also take note that the cool detail is merely a patented concept at the moment, which means Huawei can still decide not to include the idea to the actual production.

But whether the company is fitting the built-in Bluetooth earbuds or not, the sure thing is that the Huawei Watch 3 is going to be out in the market. While they did not state a release date, the tech giant admitted that it is already in the works.
