The latest model of the F-series, OPPO F9 Pro, will reportedly be launched next week. It will come with new features, but it seems like more is revealed by a leak.
According to Gizmo China, the key specs of OPPO F9 Pro were already unveiled. However, full details were provided from a leaked sales pitch memo. The said model is the first smartphone with "Gradient color body."
The phone changes color depending on its lighting. In the end, this is not an unusual scenario since some phones have already had it. Here are the full details of the upcoming OPPO handset:
- 6.3 inches FHD
- Water drop screen with 90.8 percent screen to body ratio
- 409 PPI
- Aspect ratio - 19.5:9
- Camera - 16MP + 2MP dual combo on the rear
- 25MP sensor with AI 2.1
It was pointed out that the 2MP dual combo for the rear camera has five different lighting filters for the portrait mode. OPPO F9 Pro can also record slow-mo videos, 25MP sensor AI 2.1, which dubbed "smarter and more precise." Meanwhile, the HDR mode has real-time preview and vivid mode.
This will allow users to improve photos into more colorful and lively images. In addition to its camera features is AR 2.0 that presents more effects. As if the earlier mentioned features are not enough, the memo says the will have MediaTek's 12nm Helio P60 processor clocked at 2.0GHz, 64 GB storage, and 6GB Ram.
Therefore, this new model can handle heavy games like Asphalt 8 and PUBG. The memo also confirms OPPO F9 Pro's 3500 mAh battery with AI management as it runs Color OS 5.2 that has Google lens built-in. This supports video editing features such as effects and themes. One more thing fascinating is the phone's SOS options for the emergency.
Indonesia and Philippine market will have this new OPPO experience on Aug. 15, OPPO India, on the other hand, has confirmed to launch on Aug. 21. In another report of Gizmo China, F9 Pro's notch display will be as huge as what is in the OPPO F7. Moreover, the color gradient choices include Starry Purple, Sunrise Red, and Twilight Blue.
