"Monster Hunter: World" players on the PC will finally get the chance to see -- and hunt -- a fearsome hulk of a beast as Capcom releases its first free update for the game.

The monstrous Deviljho, famously known as "The Pickle" among gaming communities, is coming to MHW's PC version, Eurogamer reported. Capcom has released an update that includes the enormous beast along with a myriad of bug fixes.

Capcom's patch notes say that the update comes with a lot of things that will make players on the PC happy.

First, there's the opportunity to hunt this fearsome monster. Once players complete its introductory mission, the Deviljho will invade level six and level seven quests, as well as high-rank expeditions, in any biome.

This gives players the perfect opportunity to practice those hard-earned monster hunting skills. With dangerous attacks and a movement speed that doesn't reflect its hulking size, fighting against the Deviljho will prove to be a challenge.

Second, the rewards for defeating the Deviljho make it worth the effort. This huge monster comes with its own set of Deviljho weapons and two sets of armor, namely the Vangis α and β armor sets.

Additionally, players will also get to unlock the Dragonproof Mantle once they defeat the Deviljho. This Mantle does a lot of wonders monster hunters will surely benefit from: it increases the Dragon damage dealt by a player's weapons, lowers or blocks the Dragon Element damage they sustain from enemy attacks, and nullifies Dragonblight debuff.

These are but some of the good things included in the update. Some bug fixes designed to improve the game are also included.

Unlocking Deviljho

Excited to hunt the Deviljho and get those rewards? It's relatively easy to do that, noted PCGamer.

First, players will need to download the update. Capcom notes that the latest version of MHW is revision number 152771. Players who wish to hunt the Deviljho with other players need to have the same update version.

Next, players will need to reach hunter rank 12. Players don't need to finish the main story. Simply finish the "??? Rathian" investigation from the main storyline, then look for a "???" on the map and search for the Deviljho's tracks. If this doesn't work, load into an area and check the map again, and search for the Deviljho.

Players should take note that the Dragonproof Mantle isn't automatically earned after locating the Deviljho. Players will need to receive the special quest, "The Food Chain Dominator," from the scholars in the research center in Astera before earning the Mantle.
