Huawei P20 Pro has already taken many by surprise, with its three lenses rear camera setup. The concept was absolutely new and revolutionary, as this was not seen on any other smartphones of recent times. It also became one of the users' favorite devices in China in no time, with about 10-million units of P20 Pro and P20 phones sold within days of its official release. Now the latest insight from Huawei suggests that the smartphone will receive an update soon, which will revamp its performance to the next level. 

According to Gadget Now, Huawei P20 Pro became one of the top-selling smartphones of the company in the smartphone market. Huawei stated: "Huawei Consumer Business Group announced that it has sold 10 million units of Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei P20 in the first five months, empowering photography enthusiasts globally to take stunning photos with their smartphones." The company further added: "Huawei's latest flagship devices sold very well in key markets such as China and Western Europe, where they are performing significantly better than their predecessors."   

Huawei also added that P20 Pro will get a performance-based advancement very soon. Express.co.uk quoted that the company is all set to push an update, dubbed as 'Performance Mode' to its latest handset. Huawei declared:  "Huawei will provide users with open access to 'Performance Mode' in EMUI 9.0 so that the user can choose when to use the maximum power of their device." The new update will reportedly be based on the EMUI 9.0, which will run Android 9 Pie, on the handset. 

The update will enhance the performance of the smartphone to the next level. Although, a number of smartphone analysts claimed that the 'Performance Mode', when turned on, will consume a lot of power making the battery drain faster. The mode will be placed in the operating system of P20 Pro as a manual option. This means that the users will be able to choose the option as per their requirement, only when the need a betterment in terms of performance. Otherwise, they can run their handsets in normal mode with less battery consumption. 

Analysts and smartphone enthusiasts suggest that this new mode will particularly enhance the performance level of the phone's connectivity and its image capturing quality. However, Huawei didn't reveal any details on this matter yet. The company said that essential details about this software update will be discussed "at a later date."
