Assassin's Creed Odyssey is already to officially debut in October, this year. The game was already confirmed to launch in three gaming platforms namely PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
The gaming geeks have already started burning out their toes to get this advancement from the house of Ubisoft in their hands. The latest update has more surprises waiting for the game's fans. The publisher of the game confirmed that it will make its way on Nintendo Switch too.
According to GameSpot, a "cloud version" of Assassin's Creed Odyssey will be launched on Nintendo Switch. This was confirmed at the Nintendo Direct presentation in Japan. The video presentation a couple of flicks of the gameplay of Assassin's Creed Odyssey on Nintendo Switch. However, it is also said in the presentation event that the game will run on Switch console as a streaming-only version of the same based on the cloud.
This indicated that the game might be as similar to that of Resident Evil 7, which also made its way on Nintendo Switch earlier as running on cloud-based servers. The source also revealed that Assassin's Creed Odyssey will run on Switch with a relatively tiny size of a downloadable file on the console.
IGN noted that Assassin's Creed sagas have not been seen over Nintendo Switch since very long. It was the 2013 version of the game, titled: 'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag,' which was the only instance of the game revealed on Switch console so far. Therefore, Ubisoft alongside Nintendo authorities expected to see a wide range of mixed experiences over Switch with this latest edition of Assassin's Creed.
It is also said that the users will get the taste of an edge of gaming with this new game when it reaches Nintendo Switch. While asked about the game's official launch on Nintendo Switch as a streaming-only service for all other regions and countries apart from Japan, Ubisoft's answer was an unconvincing 'no' for the time being.
While talking to GameSpot about the game's possible appearance in other parts o the world, a spokesperson from Ubisoft's end stated: "At the moment, this is a limited release for the Japanese market." However, Ubisoft is expected to hold a surprise for the world in terms of its Nintendo Switch streaming of Assassin's Creed Odyssey. It may also show up some revamps for the global audience with the cloud edition of the game, according to a group of analysts.
