Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has already been a blockbuster since its release seven months ago. An insight teased months ago has already made it clear that Xiaomi is looking forward to announcing a successor to this smartphone soon. Finally, the next advancement appears with a few images and it has been dubbed as Redmi Note 6 Pro, as per expectations.
According to XDA-Developers, an alleged next-gen variant of Redmi Note 5 Pro, codenamed "tulip" was under development in Xiaomi's facility. The insight was first reported back in April 2018. However, it was not clear when will it have its official debut. The latest leaked image of an alleged Redmi Note 6 Pro handset appeared over the internet recently. The leak is enough to indicate that Xiaomi is probably all set release its next edition of Note 6 Pro, as per experts and smartphone analysts.
Gadget360 quoted that Redmi Note 6 Pro would be Xiaomi's next gift under its affordable range of smartphones. The leaked images depicted a brand new Note 6 Pro handset out of the box. The smartphone looks pretty similar to Xiaomi's already existing smartphone: 'Y2'. Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a 6.26-inch full-screen HD display with a 19: 9 aspect ratio. According to one of the images, Note 6 Pro will have lower range variant having a memory setup of 3GB RAM coupled with 32GB internal storage. However, Xiaomi is also expected to launch a bigger version of the same with 4GB RAM tagged with a 64GB of base storage.
As for the camera department, Xiaomi's Redmi Note 6 Pro rear snapper will boast dual shooter, the primary one is of 12MP alongside the secondary one of 5MP capacity. The front selfie camera also holds a superlative combination of a 20MP shooter and another 2MP lens. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 636 SoC. It will come with a huge 4000 mAh battery for ensuring extra power backup. The fingerprint sensor will be placed at the mid-point of the rear panel of the handset, as per the surfaced pictures.
The images also made it clear that Redmi Note 6 Pro will have a black variant. However, the other color options are still unknown. Potential sources also suggested that Redmi Note 6 Pro will run on MiUi 10 which will be based on Android 9 Pie. The phone is expected to be price tagged anywhere between USD 250 and USD 300. Redmi Note 6 Pro is expected to launch at the last phase of this year.
