OnePlus 6 has already turned out to be one of the showstoppers of this year among the next-gen smartphones. The company is already set to launch a successor to the existing handset and the name of that masterpiece has been confirmed to be OnePlus 6T. However, there was not much known about the upcoming handset. A new TV commercial seems to clear the cloud a bit over the next handset of OnePlus.

According to Gadget360, a brand new TV advertisement featuring famous Bollywood actor: Amitabh Bachchan, who is also the brand ambassador for OnePlus in its Indian operation, showcased the first handy snap of the upcoming OnePlus 6T handset. He said in the ad: "What if I told you there's a cooler way to unlock your phone...OnePlus 6T is here......Suna hai bohut tez hai (I've heard that it is very fast)..."

The commercial was aired during the India vs. Pakistan Cricket match on this Wednesday. On the same day, Amazon India surfaced a landing page dedicated to OnePlus 6T. The page asks for users to register over it to receive all the updates on the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. The landing page is also expected to reveal a Pre-order segment as soon as the handset is about to launch officially.

Besides all these, a new leak of an alleged OnePlus 6T handset has also been surfaced over the web recently. As per that render, OnePlus will be leaving the concept of a triple rear camera and will be sticking to only a dual sensor for its newest OnePlus 6T. However, the company authorities haven't spared a word about any such developments, but, potential sources like GSMArena, also teased the same pattern of an AI capable double snapper combo only for the phone's rear end. The source suggested the back shooter setup will boast a 16MP primary lens coupled with another 20MP secondary one.

OnePlus 6T will come with a 6.4-inch full HD Optic AMOLED based display having the highest resolution of 1080x2340 pixel. The front panel will reportedly have very minimal bezel along with a water-drop notch, which is the latest trend in the market. The smartphone will be initially marketed as an Amazon exclusive as soon as it is officially released. However, it is also expected to go on the shelves of retail stores a bit later. It is not official yet, but OnePlus 6T may debut on October 17, this year.
