After months of speculation and rumors, Nvidia has finally launched the first instance of its 20 series GPU masterpieces. Nvidia RTX 2080 made its worldwide debut in this week. The company has promised a superlative hype in terms of performance than the existing Pascal architecture. RTX 2080 is said to redefine high-resolution gaming at its best.

According to The Verge, Nvidia earlier promised to build a GPU which will be furiously powerful than its GTX 1080. The company claimed to keep its pledge with the latest RTX 2080 graphics card. As per the official statements from Nvidia, RTX 2080 card held a spectacular GPU score which made it at least a three-fourth times faster than GTX 1080 graphics units.

Nvidia also noted it has designed RTX 2080 architecture in such a manner which will definitely convey the capability of real-time 4K gaming at the rate of 60 frames per second. Tech analysts have already noted this improvement as a revolutionary take in terms of high-end gaming.

Another thing, which makes Nvidia RTX 2080 different from others, is next-gen ray tracing technology which the company quoted as an exclusive feature limited to its newest 20 series GPUs, for now. The concept of ray tracing technology is meant for high-end gaming at lower-end machines, according to gaming specialists.

Nvidia is not enabling ray-tracing technology to the RTX 2080 cards at this debuting point. Latest reports suggested that the technology is still under development and improvement. Trusted Reviews further hinted that the current buyers of Nvidia 2080 may see the ray-tracing technology in their copies of RTX 2080 graphics card in coming months. Another high-end devil of Nvidia's 20 series, namely RTX 2080 Ti will also have its official unveiling on September 27.  

Nvidia has also revealed a number of high-resolution titles for its RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti cards. These include  Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Metro Exodus, Assetto Corsa, and Battlefield V. Potential sources further stated that these titles will use ray-tracing technology at full stretch. Nvidia's RTX 2080 is selling at USD 699. While the upcoming stunner: RTX 200 Ti has been price tagged at USD 999.

Another low-end variant of 20 series: Nvidia RTX 2070 is set to be officially released in October this year. This one will be available at USD 499 only. However, Nvidia has set the price of its top variant of RTX 2080 Ti, also known as Founders Edition at USD 1,199. All the graphics cards of Nvidia's latest 20 series will reportedly be traded globally. Shipments may start a bit late, as per official sources.
