Since its initial announcement, Nokia 7.1 Plus, or which is known as Nokia X7, has been a part of multiple teaser and leaks. However, the latest among these seems to reveal the majority of its expected specs alongside its front and rear appearance. The smartphone mostly looks similar to the earlier Nokia 6.1 Plus. There are similarities in terms of features as well, as per potential sources.
According to Tech2 by First Post, Nokia 7.1 Plus will boast similar tiny bezel as that of Nokia 6.1 Plus. The next-gen smartphone looks identical to 6.1 Plus. Also, the alleged Nokia 7.1 Plus handset also flaunts small notch as that of the later one. The smartphone will come with sandwiched glass made finishing with metallic design. The rear end of the smartphone, as shown in the leaked image, flaunts a brushed metal finish.
Nokia 7.1 Plus will run on Android One out of the box. The back panel showed up in the picture, reflects a space for the dual camera setup alongside LED flash. Nokia 7.1 Plus will have a 5.9-inch screen which will be a little lesser than Nokia 7 Plus' existing 6.0-inch screen panel.
Gadget360 noted that the device will come with a high-resolution enabled front panel at 1080 x 2160 pixels. The expected aspect ratio is stated to be at 19:9. Nokia 7.1 Plus will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 710 chipset, as per reports.
It should be noted that Nokia 7 Plus is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor. So, the smartphone enthusiasts who are eager to buy a Nokia 7.1 Plus may expect an upgrade of processing units in their next handset. The back panel showed in the image also flaunts a dedicated area for HMD Global's Nokia trademark as well as a space for Google's Android One mark.
Reliable sources even suggested that HMD Global will also hold a launch event on October 4, this year in Central London. The company is expected to officially launch the spectacular Nokia 7.1 Plus or Nokia X7 in this occasion only. The show may also see the debut of highly-anticipated Nokia 9. Although, there have been no official as well as unofficial traces about the later one.
Nokia 7.1 Plus is rumored to follow the same trend of mid-range pricing as that of Nokia 6.1 and 7. Although, the price range of the same is still a mystery to everyone. Nokia 7.1 is said to be released globally with the availability of shipments for all parts of the world.
