These include double pressing of the button which will enable one to launch the Camera App, long pressing of the same enabling the user to take screenshots etc. The swiping gestures have also been enhanced. A double twisting of the Camera app will enable a user to switch between rear-end snapper and the front selfie clicker in just a mere touch of the fingertip.
Also, the rear-end fingerprint scanner of Pixel and 3 XL will have more functionality and accessibility than earlier Pixel handsets. Potential sources suggested that the sensor will enable one user to easily tweak between the notifications on both the handsets and simultaneously navigate whichever is required.
Besides these, the marketing material revealed through a video clip showcased that long pressing of the power button will do more tricks. For example, a user of Pixel 3 or 3 XL will be able to take an appointment in a restaurant but just long pressing over Gmail. He will only require to press over the name of the restaurant for some time, and it will possibly direct him to another window which will initiate the appointment with date and time for it. Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL will see their global launch on October 9, this year.
