Huawei's newest handset saw a vast number of leaks and teases recently. The smartphone is finally making its way to reality. The much anticipated Huawei Y9 (2019) was officially announced by the company yesterday. The handset is about to go global as soon as the shipping starts for the same.
According to Gadget 360, Huawei Y9 (2019) recently appeared over TENAA, the Chinese certification site, recently. The smartphone variant teased over the listing hinted for a next-level advancement to the existing Huawei Y9 (2018). The latter saw the lights of the day in the first phase of the year with four rear snappers.
The newest variant will reportedly boast a revamped range of specifications and features. Potential sources suggested that the handset will come with a 6.5-inch FullView Display based on a 3D curved design. Huawei Y9 (2019) will be powered by the Kirin 710 processor, which is a great advancement to Huawei Y9 (2018)'s existing Kirin 659 SoC.
The smartphone will come with Fingerprint 4.0 identification technology alongside the capabilities of AI Power 7.0. Huawei Y9 (2019) will come with dual-rear cameras along with dual-front selfie snappers, according to GSMArena. The rear shooters will have a 13-megapixel lens coupled with another 2-megapixel lens. The back camera is also hinted to hold different filters for different color impression, moods and brightness.
The selfie camera will have more power with a 16-megapixel clicker alongside another 2-megapixel snapper. Both the snappers will have AI base capabilities for clicking perfect shots. As for the memory, Huawei Y9 (2019) will reportedly be launched in two variants. The mid-range one will boast 4GB of RAM support along with a 64GB of internal storage.
The highest-end edition of the same will come with a 6GB RAM coupled with a 128GB of hard-disk space. Huawei Y9 (2019) will have a 4000 mAh battery for extended power backup. The smartphone will reportedly run EMUI 8.2, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The next-gen Fingerprint scanner technology will allow the users to unlock the smartphone in just 0.3 seconds.
The color options for Huawei Y9 (2019) aren't still confirmed yet, but if referred to the official wallpaper, buyers can expect to see the handset in blue, black, silver and an impressive twilight color variant. The price range of Huawei Y9 (2019) is still a mystery, but smartphone analysts have started claiming it to be a mid-range handset. The smartphone is hinted to make its global debut in the mid-October phase of this year only, as per the latest insights.
