Microsoft has always been known to make its launch events big. But this time, it was bigger at its all aspects. The company, on Tuesday, unwrapped a number of new Surface-branded hardware. These were Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, Studio 2 and a brand new set of Surface Headphones. The most stylish part is that Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 will be available in matte black color variants.
New Wireless Surface Headphones:
According to PCMag, the latest Surface-branded headphones drive latest noise-canceling technology which will allow users to listen to their favorite tunes, music, speech, movies, shows without any outer disturbance. The headphones are wireless in nature. Unlike, Microsoft Surface Pro 6 and Laptop 2, the headphone doesn't come in black variant. This can be regarded as Microsoft's attempt to create a fusion of colors.
Surface Pro 6:
Next comes the newest Surface Pro 6. The device comes with Intel's eighth generation quad-core processor alongside an improved internal cooling facility, which allows it to be 67 percent more efficient than its predecessors. It flaunts 12.3-inch display. As for memory support, it boasts 16GB of RAM coupled with 1TB SSD. The device weighs almost 1.7 pounds and offers 13.5 hours long battery life at a single phase. The outer look remains the same as that of the earlier version of Microsoft Surface Pro, as per GSMArena. As for output connectivity, Surface Pro 6 comes with USB-C ports.
Surface Laptop 2:
Surface Laptop 2 also took many by surprise. The second generation Surface-branded laptop comes with 8th generation processor making it 85 percent faster than the earlier generation Surface laptop. The screen of the laptop is of LCD made with 1500:1 contrast ratio. The size of the display of Surface Laptop 2 is said to be of 13.5". Surface Laptop 2 can be kept active for 14.5 hours at a single full charge as per Microsoft. The keypad of the same is smoother than the original Surface laptop.
Surface Studio 2
Finally, comes the Surface Studio 2. The latest edition of Studio may look similar to the previous Microsoft Surface Studio, but it is a powerhouse in itself. The latest studio boasts Nvidia's Pascal graphics with 2TB of SSD hard disk space. The display of the same supports the DCI-P3 color space. The brightness Surface Studio 2 has been revamped to 38 percent than the earlier one with 22 percent more contrast level. The new Surface Studio 2 doesn't support a hybrid disk drive.
