Apple has taken many by surprise with its edge-to-edge display on the latest variants of iPhone. However, other popular smartphone makers are not in the mood to take up this development as a sole module of Apple.
LG has already got charged up and brought its newest handset which can be regarded as iPhone's display killer. The V40 ThinQ is just the answer for Android lovers who were looking for a smartphone with minimal bezel and a huge screen to display.
According to Business Insider, LG V40 ThinQ is perhaps the first bezel-less edge-to-edge Android handset that can be perfectly matched with Apple latest range of iPhones. The smartphone left LG's traditional design and now holds a 6.4-inch all screen display much like Samsung Galaxy Note 9 but in a comparatively smaller and handy size. LG V40 ThinQ comes with Quad HD+ front screen with a possible resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. The color on the display flaunts with perfect accuracy. Apart from that, the visibility of blue hue is evident over white lights.
Phone Arena also pointed out the smartphone's other features, besides its revolutionary display. The source suggested that LG V40 ThinQ is powered by Qualcomm's top variant: Snapdragon 845 processor. It runs on LG UX, which is based on the latest Android operating system: Android 8.1.
As for memory setup, the smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM coupled with a 64GB internal memory space which can be expanded with the help of microSD card, as per requirement. Some of the smartphone analysts have also claimed that LG V40 ThinQ might also receive an update of Android Pie soon. However, this can only be confirmed as soon as LG releases any official statement on this.
As for the camera department, LG V40 ThinQ boasts a superlative combination of five snappers, two on the front end alongside triple camera setup on the backend. The rear camera holds a 12-MP main lens having an f1.5 aperture with capabilities like OIS, and dual phase -detection autofocus. The other two lenses are of a 16-MP secondary one with a wide-angle capturing ability and another 12-MP lens with an f2.4 aperture.
As for the selfie clicking snappers, LG V40 ThinQ boasts an 8-MP standard lens staked with another 5-MP wide-angle selfie specific lens, for the top-class self-portraits. However, LG is still sticking to its backend Fingerprint sensors for the smartphone, unlike its potential rivals. LG V40 ThinQ reportedly comes with a price tag of USD 900 for now.
