The battle between Intel and AMD for prioritizing their processing units has been a long drawn tradition. Both the tech makers have innovated many unmatched CPU to match the competition. The latest among them is Intel's i9-9900K processor, which was officially unwrapped just a few days ago.
Intel, with its latest CPU, tried to smack AMD's Ryzen 2700X largely. Although, the newest benchmarking fetched such real-time results based on the performance comparison of both the processors, which were way beyond Intel's official claims.
In its earlier statements, Intel claimed that its newest i9-9900K will clinch a performance enhancement of up to 50 per cent over AMD Ryzen 2700X. But in reality, as per the report by Forbes, Principled Technologies' subsidized 'Gamers Nexus and Hardware Unboxed' caught over both the CPUs and performed their potential benchmarking which generated a result of only a 15 per cent hike in the performance of Intel i9-9900K over AMD's Ryzen 2700X. The organization made the benchmarking performance test with various high-end gaming titles. All and all, Intel's latest ninth generation processor, however, outperformed AMD's new Ryzen CPU in terms of its capabilities for sure. But it was not at that level as of the company's expectations.
Also, TweakTown quoted that Intel i9-9900K processor, despite its very scarce level of performance enhancement, costs much higher than AMD Ryzen 2700X. The former is said to come with a price tag 66 per cent higher than the later. It should be noted in this context that Intel is also behind with its 9th gen processor in terms of the external peripherals. As reported by reliable sources, AMD Ryzen 2700X comes with a cooler inside the box, which the latest Intel i9-9900K lacks absolutely.
Intel, however, gave out its own set of clarifications on its own creation's capacity. It stated: "Given the feedback from the tech community, we are pleased that Principled Technologies ran additional tests. They've now published these results along with even more detail on the configurations used and the rationale. The results continue to show that the 9th Gen Intel Core i9-9900K is the world's best gaming processor. We are thankful for Principled Technologies' time and transparency throughout the process. We always appreciate feedback from the tech community and are looking forward to comprehensive third-party reviews coming out on October 19". Intel's latest processor is now available for buyers with major retailers and e-commerce marketplaces at all.
