Pokémon Go has not yet announced this year's official big Halloween event but news outlets already got a sneak peek of what is about to happen under the Mimikyu Cloth.
According to Eurogamer.net, there is a new Special Research Task and it will be the first for non-mythical Pokémon. In addition to these are the ghost and dark-type spawns, quests, and new clothing items. Watch out, as there are potential spoilers ahead.
Veteran Pokémon Go Charles was able to peer at the network traffic of the game and found dialogues for a brand new Special Research Task. It was reportedly themed around the Spiritomb, an unusual Dark-Ghost type Pokémon people needed to follow on a complicated process to get in the main Pokémon games.
Getting in the process to obtain Spiritomb in Pokémon Go is luckily a lot easier. One of the hardest parts is reportedly to catch the 108 Pokemon, which described as the reference to the 108 spirits - it is what the Spiritomb is supposedly composed of. On the other hand, the most anticipated Halloween party may allow attendees to cosplay as Gengar through a new backpack, shirt, hat, and some of the avatar's newest items.
Along with this reward for catching Dark and Ghost-type creatures that are specifically known for its abundance. At the moment, Giratina was teased in both Gen 4 trailers and there are no confirmed details yet whether new Pokémon will be launched soon or not. Some avid followers of the Niantic helmed game are waging for the upcoming event to go live soon. After all, Mewtwo is set to leave the legendary raids and spooky looking Gen 4's no other than legendary Giratina was teased as well for release. The return of the Lavender Town theme is also expected.

The said event has features that trainers truly enjoyed such as more psychic types (Ralts, Abra, and Baltoy) and more right off bat.
