Microsoft announced that it will bring support for keyboard and mouse in its most advanced gaming console: Xbox One. The briefing was made a month before and the company is all set to bring the new update to the device. Testing for the same update has started. Xbox Insiders will be first to receive this update on their consoles.

According to ONMSFT, Microsoft's Xbox official programming executive Brad Rossetti stated in a Tweet: "Xbox One Insiders - Alpha Skip Ahead & Alpha Users within the next hour (or do a reboot) check out a new setting in Setting - Devices for a type of Rodent that can help you travel far in a different manner! A quest & survey will be up in the am on how to train and use the Rodent!" The first title to be availed with this feature is 'Warframe', as Rossetti wrote in another tweet: "I wonder if you tried Warframe would the Rodent work with his clicky buddy?"

As per the latest report by Thurrott, the new update, dubbed as Xbox One 1811 system update, will ship the newest build up upgrade as well. This brand new build up will include support for mouse and keyboard altogether. However, fans with Alpha Skip Ahead & Alpha subscriptions in Xbox Insiders will get the offerings of the support as the priority users.

The update will be added for other Xbox One users at a later part. The fans may have to wait for sometime for availing the support in gaming as the publisher of the major titles on Xbox will require to bring updates in their games which are compatible for running these on Xbox One with the help of Keyboard and mouse. Without the updates, the titles won't be activated via keyboard or mouse.

It should be noted that Warframe is a free-to-play third-person shooter title which was originally released on Xbox One in 2014. Although, Minecraft already allows users to bring support for Keyboard and mouse with its titles on Xbox consoles. The publisher includes the primary input of Keyboard and mouse to all its titles since the "Better Together" update.

Microsoft will reportedly release the Xbox One 1811 system update for all Xbox users by the end of next month. The new feature is also said to have an enormous modification of Search option, which enables users to get more insights about existing and new titles.
