It is very rare for two tech makers to plan to launch event at almost the same time. OnePlus and Apple earlier seemed to do this on October 30, this year, as Apple had set its next big launch event on the same date with the official unveiling of OnePlus 6T. However, as a last minute change, OnePlus preponed the launch of the 6T handset and rescheduled it a day before the earlier set date, that is on October 29.
According to GadgetNow, OnePlus has already marked its relevant position as a mobile maker in Indian and South-east Asian smartphone market. The Chinese company is one of the first OEMs to push its footprints over the United States telecom industry as OnePlus has tied up as with T-Mobile as its exclusive carrier for OnePlus 6T in the country. This step is already a huge success for OnePlus as a Chinese smartphone maker when its rivals like ZTE and Huawei are struggling to get their positions in the US.
OnePlus 6T will reportedly be released in an official live stream today. As per a report by GizmoChina, OnePlus has adapted a number f modifications for the handset apart from the earlier rumours. The first and foremost is about its front outlook. The source suggested that OnePlus 6T will come with a bezel-less design alongside a water-drop notch. The smartphone will flaunt a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution support. OnePlus 6T will boast an in-display fingerprint sensor leaving up the physical sensor of its earlier variants.
The handset will come with a 20MP front selfie camera alongside a couple of high-end rear camera setup with the primary lens of 16MP and the secondary lens of 20MP. Besides all these, OnePlus 6T has a big surprise with its memory support, as per GizmoChina. The source has claimed that OnePlus has sacrificed the 64GB internal memory variant for the same. The phone will only have two memory options: 128GB and 256GB.
There will be multiple colour variants for the handset as well. The primary edition of OnePlus 6T having 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage (Mirror Black) will come with a price tag of 559 Euros. While the secondary and the highest end versions will boast 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage (with colour options: Mirror Black, Midnight Black and Purple) and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage (Midnight Black only) respectively and will be marketed at 569 euros and at 619 euros.
