Thanks to the eagle eyes of Mida Life Crisis, there is a trick that “Red Dead Redemption 2” players can do and the reward comes in the form of a gold bar valued roughly at $15,000. Better yet, repeating the trick will result in multiple gold bars on a player’s inventory. So one can just imagine how rich he can easily get with this exploit.
All a player has to do is find the sheriff’s office in the town of Limpany and find a desk where a gold bar is stashed. Once Arthur bends to pick it up, break it by saving the game. Once the saved game is reloaded, several duplicated of the gold bar will be shown overlapping on the desk, allowing the player to pick up 30 of them at a time, Game Spot said.
Other measures to go about it were tested by some players like saving the game after opening the lockbox without getting anything. While there are a pamphlet and the gold bar present, only the latter will remain once the game is reloaded. It would be best to note as well that one needs to hold the Take button to get it done. Further, it would be best to make sure that “Red Dead Redemption 2” gamers load the right saved game since picking the wrong one will result in breaking the glitch.
Being a bug that is likely to be fixed soon, there are risks on the part of players. One scenario could result in having a player blocked for taking advantage of it. Items purchased could also be voided, especially if proven that a player has used the glitch of unlawful gain.
Glitches are nothing new and game developers do have ways of tracing players who try to get an advantage over the rest. Money is, of course, important in games like “Red Dead Redemption 2” although the best way is still the hard way. There are many cheats and glitches likely to follow until the right patch is released.
So for players who don’t want their games interrupted, it would be best to play the game in the normal course and earn their keep. Even just trying it for the sake of curiosity may prove costly, since players may either start from scratch or get totally banned.
