The Halloween-themed Fortnitemares event of Fortnite is set to end on November 4, which gives its gamers only a few additional days to complete the challenges.
According to GameSpot, the remaining day will give them time to unlock the new Dark Engine Glider if they still have not done yet. Aside from this, it seems like that is not the only incentive to play the game on Sunday. It appears, however, there is the "once-in-a-lifetime" event slated to be revealed on the same day.
Epic Games, the prominent developer of the game, teased the so-called "one-time event" is slated to happen on Sunday, November 4, at 10 AM PT (or 1 PM ET, 6 PM GMT). This is the similar time that the game's Fortnitemares event was scheduled to conclude. This was announced on the official Fortnite Twitter account. The developer did not provide any additional hints about what the event will entail. For those who wanted to see it, they have to log into the game and be in a match at that time in order to see it.
As many all know, one-time events like these are not a new thing anymore when it comes to Fortnite. One example is the leadup to Season 5 where players had to witness a rocket launch that would ultimately result in a giant rift, forming in the sky above the island. Another scenario that happened recently is a lightning storm that struck the desert of Fortnite earlier this summer. It reportedly left a mysterious purple cube in its wake.
Moreover, there is no concrete information about what to expect from a one-time event on Sunday. However, it will potentially have something to do with the earlier mentioned purple cube. The said cube has reportedly been a recurring source of mystery ever since it first appeared in the game. It reportedly lifted up a piece of land into the sky in order to create a floating island. Since then, the item has moved all around the map, which left strange craters behind.
The 6.21 update of Fortnite was reportedly scheduled to roll out on October 31. Sadly, Epic delayed it to November 1 because of the last minute issue.
