Among the newest MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and other, a new Mac mini also took the attendees of the event by surprise. The latest mac mini may seem to look similar to the earlier edition of the same. But According to Apple, it is way ahead faster and powerful than the previous Mac mini.
As per the latest report by BGR, Apple Mac mini wears a revamped spectacular outlook with 'Space Grey' finishing. The mini computer is powered by Intel's eighth-generation quad-core CPUs. The users get the options to choose from i5 or i7 chipsets as per their requirements. As for the memory setup, where MacBook Air sees a refreshment of a 16GB RAM, the new Mac mini can now boast upto 64GB of RAM support based on a removable SO-DIMMs (Small Outline Dual-inline Memory Modules). The storage space for the same has been tweaked upto 2TB with flash-based SSD units.
According to TechRadar, Apple's brand new Mac mini also conveys better graphics option than the earlier editions. Apple authorities have claimed that the Mac mini (2018) ensures 60 percent better revamps in terms of graphics than its previous editions. The graphics revamp requires a potential benchmarking result before coming to any final confirmation. Besides these, the company has also stated that the new Mac mini supports 5 times better performance in all its terms, than the earlier versions.
The outer surface of the new Mac mini is made up of 60-percent post-consumer recycled plastic alongside 100-percent recycled aluminium. As for the security purpose, Apple Mac mini (2018) comes with the company's very own T2 security chip which enables secure logins everytime a user activates his PC. As for the connectivity options, The newest Mac mini boasts a 10GB Ethernet, an HDMI port, two USB-A ports, four Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports alongside a Headphone jack and a Power cable.
The base model of the latest Mac mini packs 8GB of RAM coupled with 128GB SSD storage and it has been price tagged at USD 799. The top variant of the same, having the best in class RAm and storage support, costs USD 1,099, as per reports. The pre-order for Apple Mac mini (2018) has started on October 30, and the availability is likely to begin on November 7, 2018.
