OnePlus has just unfurled the wraps from its next-gen handset '6T.' Just within a few days, it has turned into one of the most liked handsets of this year. A new insight has also caught into one of its best color variants. A Thunder Purple colored OnePlus 6T just made it appearance on the company's support page as well as in the selling page of Amazon's Germany holding back on this Thursday. Since then it has made rounds over the web.
According to GSMArena, The Thunder Purple variant of OnePlus 6T will flaunt a color balance ranging from violet to sharp pink, depending on the light that it reflects on its back. With high beams, it may convey the sense of violet and with low lights, it may look a bit of pinkish. The source further suggested: "All previous gradient backgrounds arrived with a glass panel or another transparent solution, meaning the Thunder Purple version will be closer to the original Mirror Black rather than the Midnight Black which has a metal panel."
As per a report by The Indian Express the well-known smartphone analyst: Ishan Agarwal stated in a tweet: "OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple Renders brought to you guys exclusively by me! Do you like this new color? It's definitely different than you may have thought and I clearly like it! Is the name right for the color or not?" The Thunder Purple variant gives an ethnic outlook to the handset. It feels bluish at the upper end and when coming to the rear side it takes the mode of a deep purple lookout. The Thunder Purple variant boasts the same specs and features as of all the other versions of OnePlus 6T.
It boasts a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch and a 19:9 screen aspect ratio. It flaunts top class resolution at 1080p as per the latest reports. Despite the looks, it also comes with the latest attributes in terms of software support. According to potential sources, it runs on OnePlus' Oxygen OS based Android 9 Pie.
As per Amazon's listing of the same, OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple edition comes with 8GB RAM support coupled with 128GB of internal memory and it has been reportedly price tagged at USD 580. Whether the Thunder Purple variant of OnePlus 6 would be a mass edition or it will be available for a limited time until the stock lasts, is still a question left to be answered.
