The heat is winding up all over the smartphone world with the upcoming generation of foldable smartphones. A Chinese company has already evolved the first of its kind foldable smartphone back in last week. Now, official renders from Samsung's end is emerging up regarding its upcoming foldable handset. Samsung officials have confirmed that its foldable handset will make its first-ever appearance in its developer conference.
According to GSMArena, Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) which is about to be held from Today only will be the occasion for Samsung's foldable smartphone, reportedly dubbed as Galaxy F. Samsung's Global Vice President for its Mobile communication will showcase the foldable device's interface to the developers.
Upon enquiry of Samsung's sudden step to showcase foldable handset, officials from the company's end stated that this demonstration will be done to receive feedback from developers on how to accumulate better contents and apps on a smartphone which can be utilized as a Tablet as well.
Samsung official quoted: "Unlike our flagship products, the foldable phone is a completely new concept in terms of design and user experience, which requires a different approach." "Before we take it to the market, we want to share with developers what we've done so far and see what they think of it." the official concluded.
The company has already reportedly started rolling out Android 9 Pie to some of its handsets. For the new line up of smartphones, the company is still testing the Android Pie Beta Program, as per potential sources. Samsung is expected to roll out Android Pie (as the full version of the OS software) when it launches the foldable handset as its overall public release.
As per a report by Wired, Samsung Developer Conference is scheduled to begin at 10 AM PST today (i.e: November 7th only) which is just some hours away from now. Whether the foldable handset will be the centre of attraction of this SDC or, Samsung has also planned some other surprises as well for the developers is still a mystery to be resolved.
Samsung Developer Conference will be Live Streamed at the company's official Youtube handle. The company is expected to empower new concept in terms of the foldable smartphone's processor as well. However, the official lineup of specs and features for the tech giant's foldable masterpiece can only be confirmed as soon as Samsung itself releases the list of attributes to be seen on the handset.
