Samsung has surprised many with its newest foldable masterpiece, Galaxy F's first look at this year's Samsung Developer Conference (SDC). The company showcased some revolutionary modifications in terms of its handset's design. Samsung is finally looking forward to embracing its notch, which was a long-awaited change in terms of the company as its most capable rival: Apple has already moved to the trend with its iPhone XR.
According to BGR, Samsung flaunted a revolutionary concept in terms of its upcoming lineup of handsets in the 2018 version of SDC. The company termed it as 'Infinity' design. Specifically speaking, Samsung is looking forward to sacrificing its age-old notch based top-end design of phones and place various types of holes such as: 'O', 'V' & 'U' in exchange of the notch. The tech-giant dubs this concept as Infinity O, Infinity V, and Infinity U. These design concepts will complement with a bezel-less bottom edge of the handsets. Whether Samsung Galaxy S10 will wear any of the Infinity designs is a mystery for now.
However, potential sources have started hinting that the company might go for an Infinity O design in place of the top notch of Galaxy S10. At this point in time, another leak related to the handset was spotted by Forbes. According to the source, Galaxy S10 will come with triple rear snappers setup. The smartphone will be launched with gradient color options. The ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor will be one of the centers of attraction for the handset. Besides all these, as a next-gen addition to its connectivity options, Samsung Galaxy S10 will reportedly have 5G support options available. Notably, well-known carriers of the US like T-Mobile, Verizon etc. are still far away from the real-time continuous 5G connectivity into reality.
It may be a great competition for the carrier to put forward a 5G connectivity for the Galaxy S10. Samsung's product marketing director Hassan Anjum stated that the infinity designs "are just around the corner, and I can't wait to tell you more about them." Samsung Galaxy S10 is expected to be the gift by the company to its worldwide fans on the occasion of its 10th anniversary. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled in at least three variants. It is still not official, but according to the reports by reliable sources, Galaxy S10 is expected to be released by the end of the first phase of the next year.
