PlayStation 5 is reportedly in the making and gaming folks are already excited about it. Sony is now rumored to skip the E3 conference, before unveiling the console. The company is likely to break the silence by unwrapping the much-awaited console by the first phase of the next year. The insight on Sony's plans for the next-gen PlayStation was revealed by well-known tipster on Reddit.

According to TechSpot, Sony will not participate in the coming version of the E3 conference. The Reddit post even suggested that this might be the company's new policy to keep every detail of PlayStation 5, secret. The console is reportedly in the manufacturing stage for now and it would probably take some time to come to the public domain, possibly afterward the next E3 conference.

RuthenicCookie, the known insider and tipster, earlier noted that PlayStation 5 "will be announced sometime in the middle of next year, with the full reveal coming at a later PlayStation Experience Event. The PS5 will then launch in either March or November 2020."  So, the gaming geeks may have to wait for a longer time to take the console in their hands.

Apart from this, RuthenticCookie also stated relative insights about the PlayStation VR 2 (or, what is known as PSVR 2), as per a report by Digital Trends. The source added that PSVR 2 will have an upgrade very soon, under which it will ditch the breaker box found the earlier instances of the system. PSVR 2 will now have an inbuilt camera, and Sony reportedly is now on the verge of testing virtual reality gloves for the same.

RuthenticCookie also quoted that the PlayStation 4 titles such as Death Stranding, The Last of Us Part II, and Ghost of Tsushima, will also launch as the titles for the PlayStation 5. The source also included that the PS5 will be a monster with a "4K/60 stable and at the same time kinda monster." As for processing and utility capacity, PlayStation 5 will feature a brand new Ryzen 8-core CPU enabling extra power components for high-end VR based titles.

There is no concrete date for the first unveiling of PlayStation 5 has been outlined yet. But as per the source, Sony will possibly go for April 2019 to showcase the console for the first time ever. The console will be marketed at USD 500, as the starting price, in accordance with the latest speculations. Sony may also launch a top-end variant of the same later.
