Google's Pixel 3 - while not as expensive as some of its major competitors - is definitely not a cheap smartphone. Rumors of a mid-range smartphone being dubbed as the Pixel 3 Lite have been circulating the smartphone blog and news sphere for quite some time already but some recent leaks from previously reliable sources are already confirming that the Pixel 3 Lite is now a physical product.

Pictures of the rumored Pixel 3 Lite were first leaked by Russian leakers Rozetked. According to Techradar, the Pixel 3 Lite leaked photos being featured in the Russian blog shows similarities to the Pixel 3, but significantly differs from Google's flagship smartphone in specific ways.

According to the publication, Pixel 3 Lite fans can expect the mid-range phone to feature an LCD screen rather than an OLED screen. In addition, the Pixel 3 Lite will apparently feature a plastic back cover rather than the metal back that the Pixel 3 uses.

Techradar points out that the leaked Pixel 3 Lite will be equipped with mid-range components and features but will be fixed to a 32 GB storage capacity that cannot be expanded. The publication notes that the non-expandable memory does point towards a mid-range phone being targetted for developing markets.

Rozetked's leak of the Pixel 3 Lite is not the only recent confirmation of the anticipated smartphone's look and specifications. Russian tech blogger kzkv posted on Twitter a photo with two Google devices. According to kzkv, one of the phones featured in his photo is definitely the Pixel 3 Lite. The photos show that the Pixel 3 Lite could feature a larger screen size and phone height than the Pixel 3 which it already shares many of its visual qualities.

Techradar picks up the scoop once again by pointing out that despite the downgrades from the Pixel 3 in some areas, the Pixel 3 Lite will still feature 12.2MP rear-facing camera comparable to the base model. Unfortunately, the Pixel 3 Lite will not be featuring a dual-lens front facing camera compared to its more premium cousin.

Considering that the Pixel 3 Lite has yet to be confirmed as in production by Google, fans hoping that the tech company finally releases a mid-range phone will have to sit tight for a bit. Considering that the Russian bloggers and leaks are claiming to already have a physical copy of the device, it seems that a confirmation of the Pixel 3 Lite's actual existence is not far behind.
