While release for "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" is still almost a year away, a recent potential leak sheds some light on what fans can expect from the upcoming title.
Gamerant recently stumbled upon a post in the "Star Wars" Leaks subreddit that claimed to have information on "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order." A Reddit user named u/Xyzsvtabc claims to have attended a "Star Wars" marketing presentation by Disney which detailed the company's plans for the franchise in 2019. Part of u/Xyzsvtabc's post includes the plot for "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order."
To be developed by Respawn Entertainment - best known for being the studio behind the popular "Titanfall" series - "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" is rumored to take place five years after the events of "Revenge of the Sith." According to the Reddit leak, players will take on the role of Cal, a jedi padawan that survived the purges of Order 66.
Part of the "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" leak also mentions the potential involvement of the Galactic Empire's inquisitors with u/Xyzsvtabc mentioning the presence of Sith inquisitors such as the ninth and second sister - a Sith inquisitor naming convention that was first introduced in the "Rebels" animated series. In addition, fans could also expect characters from "Star Wars" comics to join parts of the plot of "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order."
The Reddit leak does mention that most of the marketing presentation focused on the plot for "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order." Not much gameplay details have been revealed about "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" including the potential genre of the upcoming video game.
The Reddit post also included information on "Star Wars" projects other than "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order." Some of the revealed details include a potential new Disneyland ride called Galaxy's Edge, a new animated series that could end up being called "Galaxy of Adventures," additional information on Jon Favreau's "The Mandalorian," and some details about "Star Wars Episode 9."
Fans of the "Star Wars" franchise looking forward to getting their hands on "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" do not have too long to wait. The official Electronic Arts website for the game states that fans can expect the upcoming game to hit stores by the holiday season of 2019.
