Known around the globe for offering such extraordinary and remarkable winter sports and ice festivals, China is about to showcase the beauty of winter season and amazing ice sculptures once again as the country prepares to open its annual Harbin Ice Festival in the Heilongjiang province's capital city.
Scheduled to bring delight starting December 25 this year to February 28 of next year, as posted by Harbin Ice, "the world's largest ice festival" will cater one of a kind experiences to its guests. It features five theme parks: the Harbin Ice and Snow World, Harbin Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo, Harbin Ice Lantern Fair, Harbin Wanda Ice Lantern World, and Harbin Songhua River Ice and Snow Happy Valley.
To tease the world with how marvelous the event will be, the park has recently shared their design sketches for this year's festival. The festival will be made more exciting with the traditional Chinese architecture, ice castle, a church, a king tower about 40 meters tall, and Gothic architecture, all designed, carved and sculpted from ice.
One of the most anticipated architecture in the park will be the 40-meter-tall king tower, which is said to be the highest building in the park.
To be able to enjoy what this festival has to offer, it is crucial to buy tickets in their entrances, according to Ice Festival Harbin.
For Harbin Ice and Snow World 2019, ticket price depends on the time you will visit the place. For daytime, prices are at 135 Chinese Yuan same for students and adults, while for night time, tickets are at 135 Chinese Yuan for students and 330 Chinese Yuan for adults.
On the other hand, tickets for Harbin Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo is 330 Chinese Yuan for adults and 135 Chinese Yuan for children who are between 1.2 to 1.4 meters tall, students, senior citizens, residents of Harbin, and those who are working in the military.
If you are more mesmerized with the lights from Harbin Ice Lantern Fair, tickets are at 150 Chinese Yuan for adults, 40 Chinese Yuan for students, and 40 Chinese Yuan for the residents of Harbin City.
For Harbin Wanda Ice Lantern World, prices of tickets are at 280 Chinese Yuan for adults and 150 Chinese Yuan for students.
In contrast to other theme parks, Harbin Songhua River Ice and Snow Happy Valley don't require their guests to pay for the tickets. Guest are only obliged to pay extra costs if they want to engage in snow and ice activities.
