What makes it different from the previously shared pictures of the vehicle is the absence of the camouflage paint job. The spy shots of the upcoming performance car show it inside a transport trailer minus the cover. Industry experts note that its design appears to match most of the images and renderings that are circulating around the web.
However, there are those that are hopeful that there still might be more surprises in store for the unveiling. Consumers can look forward to 2019 Detroit Auto Show, which is scheduled on Jan. 14 to see the Japanese Marque debut its latest project. According to CNET, the image was uploaded on the SupraMKV forum wherein users claim that it is the final production model on its way to the auto show.
Other than how it looks, information about the 2020 Toyota Supra continues to elude the public. Yet, there were a few people who got a chance to take it out for a spin. Reports reveal that Tim Stevens, the editor-in-chief of Roadshow, took a prototype out for a spin in Spain. It should be noted that this was a pre-production model that sported the camouflage paint job. After a few rounds around the tracks, reportedly found its handling and performance commendable.

Owners of the aforementioned vehicle are apparently unanimous with their complaints that it needs more power. Even though the specifications are not yet confirmed by the manufacturer, the impending Supra's 3.0-liter turbocharged engine should generate more than 350 horsepower.
Additionally, sources likewise suggest that the new model will clock in at around 3,300 pounds, which is around 500 pounds heavier than its underpowered sibling. Despite the added weight, the engineers managed to give it a lower center of gravity. Therefore, fans can expect ideal weight distribution for improved handling.
