The much-awaited Huawei Nova 4 is about to see its official announcement today. The smartphone is said to be unveiled in China as its primary market. It is also expected to go global within weeks from now. The specs and features of the smartphone have been outlined already.
According to the insight, the smartphone is probably the first ever smartphone to hold a 'punch hold' display notch, much similar to the Infinity O-notch derived by Samsung recently.
According to GSMArena, Huawei Nova 4 will also hold an innovative and revolutionary in-display selfie snapper. The source suggested that the selfie camera will boast a 25MP lens alongside AI based capabilities which can click best in class selfies based on facial expressions.
Besides this, Huawei has also implemented a huge advancement in terms of its rear camera. Nova 4 will reportedly boast triple lens camera on its back panel. The primary snapper on the rear end will be made up of a revolutionary 48MP sensor having a f/1.8 aperture speed. This will be accompanied by a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.
The 48MP sensor is exclusive to its highest-end variant. The standard edition of Huawei Nova 4 will have a 20MP sensor in place of the 48MP sensor, the rest of the sensors including the front snapper will remain the same. As for the display, Nova 4 will flaunt a 6.4-inch panel with Full HD+ resolution.
As for the processing unit, Huawei Nova 4 will be powered by a Kirin 970 SoC clocked at 2.4GHz.The top variant of the smartphone is said to come with an 8GB RAM setup coupled with 128GB internal storage which can be expanded with the help of a MicroSD card.
Besides high-end technicalities, Huawei has portrayed much focus on power backup for its next-gen handset. As per a report by BGR, Huawei Nova 4 will come with 3750 mAh battery which ensures long-term battery life, alongside support for 18W fast charging.
Huawei Nova 4 is rumored to run on Android Pie out of the box. Although, it hasn't been confirmed by any potential source yet. The latest reports also suggested that the top model of Nova 4 will be price tagged at CNY 3,400 while the mid-range version will cost around CNY 3,100. The smartphone is also said to arrive in varied color options. The phone is reported to be marketed in Europe and North America in the first phase of 2019.
