According to TechCrunch, the majority of Fortnite fans were suffering from this issue. When they tried to log in to the game's server they were pulled back to the queue and after some moments the server was notifying a timeout message for the same. The team of the source even tried their luck to get to log in to Fortnite servers. After a wait of about 10 minutes in the queue, they faced off with the message: "Unable to join the Fortnite login queue. Please try again later." The situation occurred during 2.00 PM Pacific Time.
The players also reported the matter to Fortnite's official Twitter account in large numbers. Epic then came up with an official tweet briefing that they have recognized the issue and potential investigations have already been started to identify the actual problem. The tweet stated: "We are investigating an issue causing some players to encounter a problem with game services and when attempting to log in." This is not the first instance of famous titles being non-operational during the holiday season.
