Xiaomi has already taken over huge popularity with its new smartphone segment: Pocophones. The first handset in this segment, namely Poco F1, which is globally known as Pocophone F1, has already turned into a fan favorite. Now the smartphone is getting an advancement with a new memory variant of its Armoured version.
According to GSMArena, the Armoured Edition of Poco F1, which made its first debut in the mid-phase of 2018, has been popularized as a higher-end memory edition of the handset with 256GB internal memory and 8GB RAM. Although being loaded with superlative features, it was a bit costlier to the customers as it came with a price tag of USD 413. However, to reduce the burden of pricing Poco now came up with a new memory edition, having 6GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of storage space, of the Armoured Edition of Poco F1.
The latest edition comes with the same design as that of the existing Armoured Edition of Poco F1. It costs USD 342 and it will be marketed in India, as its primary selling zone with a price tag of INR 23,999. PhoneRadar noted that the new Poco F 128GB Armoured Edition will flaunt a 6.18-inch 2246x1080 pixels Full HD+ screen covered with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. As for the processing unit, the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU.
As for the camera setup, Poco F1 128GB Armoured Edition boasts a 12MP rear snapper with dual LED flash and Sony IMX363 sensor, Dual Pixel autofocus coupled with another 5MP secondary sensor made by Samsung. The front selfie clicker is made of a 20MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture capacity. The handset comes with a 4000 mAh battery coupled with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, for ensuring long-term battery backup.
The newest Armoured Edition will run on Android 9.0 Pie based on MIUI 10. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor which is complemented with IR face unlocking system for tighter security levels and unlocking system. According to smartphone specialists analysts, Poco F1 is one hell of a handset equipped all best in class features and it's placed in retail and online stores at the reasonable range. The handset will be available at Flipkart as well as in mi.com for the buyers who are interested to grab it soon. The 128GB Armoured Version is about to go global soon, as per sources.
