Nvidia might have moved to the new family of GPUs with its RTX series. But the company still keeping up with the hangover of GTX series among its fans. Nvidia is now rumored to unveil GTX 11 series by the next few months only, although there is no update on the matter from the official sources of Nvidia.

According to Digital Trends, the update was first outlined by Videocardz in December 2018. It stated that it had dug into the internal sources of Nvidia and also stated that GeForce GTX 11 series will be launched in mid-January of 2019, with GTX 1160 as the first card of the lineup to be released.

The hints might be relevant in this context as the event of Consumer Electronics Show is approaching closer and Nvidia might be planning a big surprise of the next-gen GTX 11 series for its global fans. The update is now supported with an official update by Lenovo, as per the latest insights.

A new report by Ultragamerz, Nvidia GeForce GTX 11 series do really exist. The company might not have released an update on this but Lenovo has partially revealed some relative facts and figures which supports the existence of the GPU series. According to the report, Lenovo will soon release a laptop which will boast GeForce GTX 1160 GPU. The card will reportedly be based on the current Turing architecture & without RTX support, meaning prices should be much lower than the RTX series so potentially good news for gamers.

Apart from these, a number of new snapshots have also been surfaced over the web recently, which are supposedly belong to GTX 1180. The authenticity of the screenshots are still in question, but if traced on Nvidia's existing tradition, the company always releases a consecutive number of cards based on a GPU series in a row. Therefore, if GTX 1160 exists, the existence of GTX 1180 can't be ignored.

Regarding the price range, Videocardz has stated that Nvidia will line up GTX 11 series cards at low and mid-range price lineup. Speaking of the secrecy, gaming experts and industry analysts came to a single conclusion that Nvidia may be looking forward to boosting the sales of RTX series for now. Therefore, the company might have taken the strategy of keeping GTX 11 series GPUs at a below the line position in commercials, at least for the time being. This insight, however, requires an official confirmation. GTX 11 series is expected to be on the shelves of retail stores by the end of the first phase of 2019.
