Samsung will unveil its latest Galaxy S flagship phone, Galaxy S10. Apart from that, the tech giant company will unveil its foldable phone, which is set for on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 11 AM PT at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Galaxy series, and the invitation prominently features the number 10, The Verge reported. 2019 is the best year for Samsung to have a fresh start and exceed its expectations when it comes to sales. In 2018, the Galaxy S9 failed to meet sales expectations. Recently, the company issued a surprisingly low fourth-quarter earnings forecast warning of lower smartphone profits. Apart from that, 2018 wasn't a good year for Samsung as there were reports that its Galaxy Note 9 exploded, and some of its devices had the same issues.

Ahead of its Unpacked event, Apple offered to add iTunes on Samsung TV. This year is also the first time for Apple to appear on CES Show.

Back to Samsung Galaxy 10, the tech company will show off the rumored three variants of the Galaxy S10, alongside the "fully functional" version of its long-in-development foldable phone, The Wall Street Journal reported. The tech firm confirmed that the long-in-development phone has an Infinity Flex Display- this feature enables it to transform into a phone or a tablet when it's opened and closed.

"We've set our sights on Galaxy's future and are focusing on engineering the technologies and breakthroughs that will continue to transform the mobile landscape," a statement from Samsung posted in a blog post.

Ahead of the unveiling event, there were leaked reports claiming that Samsung's foldable phone will be more expensive than its rival, the iPhone XS. Some reports suggest it will cost £1,370 or $1,760. This pricey gadget is dubbed as Galaxy F and it has been reported it will be available in the market in 2019.

The leak report also reveals that the Galaxy F screen will expand to a 7.3-inch OLED screen when unfurled. When it shrinks, it will turn into a 4.5-inch display when closed.

Samsung will also launch a larger variant of the Beyond 1, in which likely to be named the Galaxy S10 Beyond 2. It may come in a 6.4-inch screen, two front cameras and two rear-facing cameras, as well as many of the same features of the Beyond 1. According to Daily Mail UK, Galaxy F and Galaxy S10 are equipped with a Snapdragon 855 processor.

Although Samsung will unveil the new devices on Feb. 20, it doesn't mean that the anticipated handsets will be available for sale in the same month.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that the tech firm will release a low-end version of the S10. It will come with a base model with a 5.8-inch AMOLED display, a bigger version with a 6.44-inch screen, as well as a 5G model. Some leaks suggest that Samsung may move to ditch the notch entirely.
