Many news outlets confirmed recently that the Motorola's iconic phone Motorola Razr will return as a smartphone. This week, an illustration of the alleged Motorola RAZR appears online that made tech geeks get more excited.
A tech news outlet 91 Mobiles reveals several illustrations that seem to show a handset with a folding screen on the inside. The second illustration shows a smaller screen on the outside. Although the illustration may look like Motorola RAZR, the source did not mention RAZR brand in the document. However, the illustrations that have been posted shows several similarities to the RAZR V3.
Previously, news about the RAZR patent with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) came out on December 17, 2018. The news came out just days after Lenovo's plans for a new RAZR. The upcoming phone believed to be a Verizon exclusive and has been reported will come out next month.
Lenovo plans to manufacture over 200,000 of the new RAZRs, WSJ reported, The source added that Lenovo will team up with Verizon Communication Inc. when it comes to selling the new version of the handset. This is not the first time that the company attempted to revive this model. In 2011 and 2012, the company tried to revive this model with the help of Verizon for a series of Droid RAZR devices.
